Zandro WH is a talented, young dressage horse who was started in February 2011. He is ready to show at Training level and is nicely schooling 1st level movements. He has three quality gaits that are expressive, uphill and easy to sit. He has a kind and lovable personality and is enjoyable to work on a daily basis. He hacks out quietly, is easy to handle and is sound with no vices.

Registered with the KWPN, Zandro earned a First Place premium grading nationwide at a KWPN kuering held in Virginia in 2004. Zandro was also one of three DHH youngsters whose placings earned Windholme Farm its “Renai Breeder of the Year” status in 2004. Zandro is USDF Lifetime Registered.

Zandro's father, Horal, is  a Dutch Harness Horse stallion, who was imported from Holland in July 2002 and almost immediately named Open Fine Harness Champion at the Renai World Championships held in Kentucky in September 2002.  Additionally, following a licensing exam in 2003 for before KWPN judges from The Netherlands, Horal was approved for breeding as a licensed Dutch Harness Horse stallion. As a result, Horal’s offspring now are eligible for inclusion at the highest level within the NA/WPN, the North American Registry for Dutch Harness Horses and in the KWPN, the equivalent registry for Dutch Harness Horses in The Netherlands.

Zandro is best suited for a professional or talented amateur/young rider who wants to take a young horse to the top of competitive dressage.

Tasmin

11 y.o., 15.2 H, Dutch Warmblood
(Darwin x Mariposa),
Black Mare

Tasmin is a lovely, well-bred mare with huge potential as a Hunter or Dressage mount for the Junior or Amateur. She is an expressive, balanced mover with a hard-working attitude. She is currently in professional Dressage training and is ready to compete at Training Level while schooling 1st Level movements. She is a forward thinker with a nice feel in the seat and hand. As a Hunter, she has movement to win the hack and has great form over fences. She has been schooled over small gymnastics and has done some cross-country with a Junior. Tasmin is not only brave, she is safe.

As a proven broodmare, she has passed along her fantastic lineage producing exceptional Dressage and Jumping horses. Her legendary father, Darwin (Roemer/Pion), finished third in his performance test in 1988, scoring nines for his training report, temperament, riding test and trot. He was named leading sire among FEI-level dressage horses in the US for the 1999 competition year according to the SOBA Dressage Sires Report. Darwin is a son of Iron Spring Farm's legendary sire ROEMER, one of the most important producers of dressage horses in the U.S., who is still in 18th place on the list of SOBA Dressage Sires.

Tasmin’s dam, Mariposa, was the daughter of Taxateur* who was the first Approved Dutch Warmblood stallion in North America.  During a brilliant show career he was AHSA Champion; both the USDF and the CDS Horse of the Year; and a many-time winner at FEI levels.  Taxateur has produced successful offspring in many disciplines and was the sire of multiple NA/WPN Top Ten horses.

Tasmin is a very easy keeper, and she is current on all routine care.

GF BORIS

Reg. Half Arabian
(Arabian x Trakehner)

Boris is a fantastic teacher and has been used for dressage lessons up to 2nd level. He has competed at 1st level with scores in the mid 60's, and he is trained through 3rd level. Due to a past suspensory injury, he would be best suited as a lower level (2nd/3rd level) schoolmaster and/or competitor.

Boris is a stunning gelding, who enjoys being watched. He has a naturally set rhythm and will make a super freestyle partner. Boris is light in the bridle and has a nice feel on the leg.

Video is available of Boris schooling 2nd/3rd level, upon request.

$5,000

Also available for an on-farm full lease $650.00 + farrier (Dressage lessons included).
